I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Sharon Lye, I am a British Citizen who has spent many years living in the United Kingdom and Australia. I majored in English Literature and World History at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. I have been a successful teacher for twenty five years. In this time I have taught classes in Chemistry, Physics, Photography,History,Economics, International Relations, Politics, Literature, Mathematics, Geography, Social Science, Drama, Life Education and the English Language.
Over the years I have taught students as young as two years old and as old as 70. I have taught Kindergarten, Primary School, Middle School, High School, University and Adult Workplace Classes. My classes throughout my teaching career have consisted of one-to-one tutoring sessions through to group classes of fifty students.
I have also had a successful career as a Motivational Speaker in Australia. I have been a public representative for Municipal Councils, Government Departments, Advocacy Organisations and Public Awareness Committees. I have been invited twice to give a speech on Education and Safety for Children before the Prime Minister of Australia in the nation’s capital city of Canberra.
I believe it is very important to give children the best education available. I believe all children have a right to learn and study in a supportive environment. I feel that my students are all valuable individuals and en
